Characteristics
The Fat-O-Meat’er II is a handheld instrument for measuring fat and muscle thickness in predefined locations on a pig carcass. The Fat-O-Meat'er II is a very robust and reliable system with a very high resolution.
It has a modular system architecture with extensive roadmap for future enhancements. The precision is 0.25 mm to 0.03 mm and the design is highly hygienic according to standard EN1672-2.

Available versions
The Fat-O-Meat'er II system is available in 3 versions:

  • High speed version - consists of a probe and a Carometec Touch Panel i15 computer terminal. Data processing speed: no limit

  • Low speed version - consists of a probe and a Carometec Touch Panel i15 computer terminal. Data processing speed: limit is 250 carcasses / hour

  • Basic version - consists of a probe. Data processing speed: limit is 800 carcasses / hour
